Here is a little experiment.
I really wont to implement real time render in my creature design pipeline so client could have a little clearer idea of materials and lighting, and as a secondary task i wanted to use polypaint so I spent more time in my Zbrush. And of course this should be done in a comparable time with a keyshot\compose pipeline.
So I did a quick sculpt in zbrush, painted with polypaint, give it a decimation, and bake all of the maps, than i droped it in Painter to get my Gloss and Specs, and build a lighting setup in Toolbag.
Obviously it took a bit more time, actually twice the time. I believe i could fit keyshot compos and sculpt of this fella, in to 4 hours, and this one here took me around 8 hours. Quite a lot for a production creature design..
And I quit on the eyes as well, there is just to much work to get thous done in realtime, so I just did thous in PS afterall. BTW if you know any nice PBR eyes for sale please let me know!=)
